Chapter 5-7(p.11): Bor is introduced as the son of Buri. He marries the giantess Bestla and fathers three sons: Odin, Vili, and Ve. It is also stated that Bor's sons killed the giant Ymir.
He begot a son called Bor. He married a wife called Bestla, daughter of the giant Bolthorn, and they had three sons. One was called Odin, the second Vili, the third Ve.

Chapter 2(p.69): In a verse by Thorvald Blonduskald, Odin is referred to by the kenning "Bor's son".
