His name is Loki or Lopt, son of the giant Farbauti. Laufey or Nal is his mother.
Chapter 16(p. 76): In the list of kennings (poetic names) for Loki, "son of Farbauti" is the first one mentioned.
How shall Loki be referred to? By calling him son of Farbauti and Laufey...
Chapter 16-17(p. 77): A verse by the skald Úlfr Uggason is quoted, which refers to Loki as "Farbauti's terribly sly son."
Renowned defender [Heimdall] of the powers’ way [Bifrost], kind of counsel, competes with Farbauti’s terribly sly son at Singastein.
Chapter 22(p. 87): In the poem Haustlöng, a verse refers to Odin commanding "Farbauti's son" (Loki) to share the ox, a key event in the story of Idunn's abduction.
The gracious lord of earth [Odin] bade Farbauti’s son [Loki] quickly share the bow-string-Var’s [Skadi’s] whale [ox] among the fellows.
